Welcome to the world of secrets adventurers. As usual, our 7th episode of Diary will be full of various interesting facts and mysteries.
Let’s descend into this realm.
We all know that Sniper gloves are needed for one of the addons of Hunter Outfit. We also know that they can be sold to Elane and Yasir.
But did you know that there are more NPCs to whom you can handle or sell this item?
NPCs in Carlin, Liberty Bay, Port Hope and Darashia would be more than happy to take them. On the other hand, NPCs in Ankrahmun in Venore are not really impressed.
These strange dark figures can be spotted in various places of Tibia. For example on Island of Destiny, below Drefia or in Edron Magic Academy.
We had several reports of one special attribute that some of these statues share.
They can be „used with” if you right-click on them. What is the purpose of it? Is this just a game devs mistake? Perhaps there is a specific item that would somehow react in contact with the statue.
Do you have any ideas? I have tested the shimmer swimmer, for example, hoping to create the legendary babel swimmer –
Remember that not all statues have this ability. This one in Drefia cannot be „used with”:
Special thanks to u/RookCammel from Reddit, who was the first to contact us about this mystery.
NPC Bradford, who can be found in Liberty Bay’s tavern, can be asked to sing a song:
But it sounds rather creepy, unlike the usual, jolly tavern ditty.
Quick research revealed that this is an allusion to the song which can be heard in the „Wizard of Oz” movie, from 1939.
Part of the lyrics:
„Ding-dong, the witch is dead! Which old witch? The wicked witch
Ding-dong, the wicked witch is dead
Wake up, you sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed
Wake up, the wicked witch is dead!
She’s gone where the goblins go below, below, below, yo ho”
Surprisingly, this racoon is a source of many interesting allusions. Let’s list them.
If we ask him about his job – „Captain” he responses that he named his raft „Trekkie”. Trekkie is a common term that means nothing else, but a Star Trek fan.
Using the keyword „crew” triggers a curious response, that he would like to hire an elf, as he likes their ears. One of Star Trek’s crew members – Spock also had pointed ears, similar to elves.
The orc guard that Coohan mentions, can be an allusion to Worf – another Star Trek character, who used to be the security chief on USS Enterprise-D. Soulless golem, on the other hand, is probably Data – the android character in ST series.
any of heard about the Triangle of Terror. Maybe you have even fought 2 of its members – Morgaroth and Ghazbaran.
Let’s take a look at what Edowir in White Flower temple has to say about them:
The story of the 3rd member, Zoralurk is quite mysterious, but let’s get straight to the point. Look at this, it may be the crucial info to find… Her.
Zoralurk is a female! She may not be present in game as a monster, but what if she’s disguised as some random NPC (woman)?
Equilateral triangle connecting the respawn places of Ghazbaran, Morgaroth and theoretical resp of Zoralurk points at Cormaya or maybe undergrounds between Cormaya and Oramond.
We had the opportunity to meet Zoralurk only once in the past, summoned by CM on a private test server in 2007:
14 years have passed since then, is Zoralurk really hiding somewhere between us?

I love how articles uncover more content in Tibia and help me understand Tibian universe better.
