“There are people in the world so hungry,

that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.”

-Mahatma Gandhi

I. The Upper Echelons of Society

The known Yalahari history portrays their culture and government system as the center of their power and capabilities, achieved through many centuries of research, development and striving for understanding even the most obscure paths of existence. Arguably, one of the most knowledge hoarder races in the whole lands of the Tibian realm, accumulating known and forbidden wisdom.

Since the island opened up its docks in welcome of the explorer’s society ships (2008), many adventurers, warriors, knowledge hunters and mystery chasers have roamed this lands inspecting even the most unreachable corners, seeking for possible clues, hoping for the long awaited day to unveil its secrets.

Stories from a better past depict a golden era for the Yalahari, their ancient origins in wars and cruelty prompted them to forsake their former masters. and sail away seeking for a land in which they could flourish as a nation. Once settled in their new home land, the Yalahari were able to fulfill their thriving hunger for knowledge.

Prosperity, wealth, technological advances, marvelous magical discoveries and mysterious insights to the vast unknown made the Yalahari society sprout along with their power. Years later, when their beloved luxurious city started to show signs of decay, they decided to hire servants, a group of people known as the Augur.

1. Iriana response to “centre”.

“In ancient times, the Yalahari erected this magnificent and shining city in the North where they lived together with some servants they had hired from other areas.”

-From maps section: https://www.tibia.com/library/?subtopic=maps®ion=yalahar

2. excerpts from “History of the Augur”, Part I and II.

When their society reached a point of decline, things started to change gradually. The new order, a rather oppressive system instaurated by the new rulers in power, shifted all the traditions from the past Yalahari. Dark rituals, hermetic councils and secrecy extended even more its practice into the already private regular daily tasks of a Yalahari citizen.

3. Mr. West's opinion about Azerus.

II. The Catastrophes Yet To Come

The new Yalahari order, lacking the necessary knowledge, was not able to maintain the city in shape, not even with the help of the recently hired servants. While the state of all quarters continued to worsen, the massive growth of the population rendered the once wonderful city into an anarchic state. Pirates, bandits and assassins flooded the foreign quarter, along with unexpected inhabitants of a variety of races from distant lands. Thieves and smugglers made the former trade quarter their headquarters. Sadistic warriors wreaked havoc in the arena quarter, while animals from the zoo escaped from their cages. Cultists took over part of the magician quarter while the death itself stood up and walked through the cobbled roads of the Yalahar cemetery. Overpopulation and bad design probably caused the east quarter to sink, a tragedy leaving many deaths behind. The neglect of technological equipment and lack of proper maintenance  also affected both the factory and the alchemist quarters, causing two major catastrophes that marked the life and future of all the inhabitants of Yalahar forever.

From the present time, our current perspective, information from books and citizens, it's hard to tell the real nature of the east quarter tragedy, different sources point to a possible tsunami, a structural failure or even a possible attack from creatures below the sea. On the other hand, the accident in the factory quarter seems much more logical, mishandling of substances, overcharged machines, dangerous materials or even human error could be reasonable causes.

4.  Aquarium with undersea creatures in the Yalahar zoo.

5.  Jimmy remembers a traumatic episode in response to “alchemist quarter”.

The alchemist quarter served as shelter for a variety of biological researches and experimentation, being a vault for possible infectious agents, a matter that Yalahari rulers rarely care about, leaving the wellness of inhabitants as an unimportant subject. At the current status of the city, drowned by poverty and starvation, an infected citizen has minimal  chances of survival.

In addition to biological threats, another tragic calamity for Yalahar citizens is vampirism, many cases have erupted drastically and constant vampire invasions just worsen the situation. In the dark corners of some forgotten alley of any quarter there could be desperate individuals getting infected on will, knowing the food supply will be uncertain for years to come, but fresh blooded adventurers will keep coming, attracted or perhaps fooled by the promise of wisdom and riches. A once flimsy and weak human could either contract a rare virus, die or gain the strength of many with just the proper bite of rotten meat from dubious sources.

6.  Pugwah’s take on the unspoken delicacies.

Could it be that the Yalahari rulers are purposely letting the island population fall sick? Are the still healthy people outside the inner city being victims of an evil plan?

7.  Julius suggesting a more suitable name for this city.

III. The Sinners And The Impeccables

Upon finding the way to Yalahar (opening mission during In Service of Yalahar quest) we meet Captain Cookie, a friendly pirate with a sweet tooth.

8.  1 - Response to “food”. 2 - Response to “job”. 3 - Response to “Yalahar”.

The Cockaigne figures as a mythical island in traditional pirate lore where every whim could be satisfied, and every desire fulfilled without consequence or restraint. It embodied the ultimate escape from the harsh realities of pirate life, a utopical realm where dreams become reality and the pursuit of hedonistic delights knows no bounds. Like Valhalla for pirates? Or perhaps Gomorrah for pirates? Maybe this gluttonous capitan has something else than just an innocent sweet tooth.

While venturing into the inner city, we find some other possible examples of what we could consider as misconduct from a strictly biblical point of view.

9.  1 - Znozel response to “job”. 2 - Serafin response to “Augur”.

10.  1 - Gree Dee response to “Yalahar”. 2 - Morpel response to “cyclops”.

Avarice, trickstering, envy and also what seems to be an uneven market, where some of the shop owners seem to be doing more profit than others.

11.  Dorbin response to “news”.

Will there be good willed citizens in this turmoil?

Voice for the unheard, helping hand for those in need and, unfortunately, employee of the Yalahari, right hand of Azerus. Palimuth, an Augur, is a character entangled between two perspectives.

During the service of Yalahar, Azerus asks adventurers to seek the help of Tamerin, a druid secluded inside Yalahar arena, and drops upon their shoulders the decision of either breeding cattle for the hungry in need as Palimuth suggests or war beasts as Azerus commands (In Service of Yalahar, Mission 05: Food or Fight). Then, when Azerus leaves the adventurers in charge of dangerous machinations in order to restore the production of weapons, Palimuth instructs them to do the exact opposite and produce food supplies instead of weapon supplies (In Service of Yalahar, Mission 08: Dangerous Machinations). Palimuth is always aware of the needs of the people and reluctant to follow the ways of the Yalahari; by serving his masters, Palimuth is able to spot and possibly interfere with the Yalahari’s questionable agenda.

A few steps to the east from Palimuth’s office we find Soilance, shopkeeper of the butchery store, a self-proclaimed “innocent trader”. Upon having a chat with this man we can easily spot something is odd.

12.  1 - Butchery’s rotworm infested cellar.

2 - Butchery’s rooftop.

3 - Soilance, an innocent trader.

13.  Soilance dialogues.

With a quick inspection to the food prices from all kingdoms in Tibia we can confirm this butcher indeed sells the cheapest ham across every town at only 5 gp per piece, which seems a bit out of place among the opulence of the inner city. How is he able to maintain these prices?

Soilance, a classist, segregationist, derogatory, and maybe even racist butcher, sums up most of the characteristics we would expect to find in a sinister evil person. He claims to never had seen a Yalahari in his life; while we know Yalahari rulers live a secluded and hermetic life, it’s hard to believe this when he lives right next to the Yalahar Palace and clearly has two towers on his rooftop, mayhaps a hard working man that barely sees the light of the sun? Receiving meat shipments, moving food crates and supplies all day? This idea crumbles immediately when realizing about the real source of his meat: putrid unsafe rotworm meat. The butchery shopkeeper changes his tone, stutters, gets nervous and elusive when asked about the meat he sells and also when asked about why he keeps rotworms in his basement. Soilance also doesn’t hesitate when telling us about his connections with Mr. West.

Let’s have a look at what the inhabitants of the former trade quarter think about Mr. West.

14.   Armenius’ suspicious opinion about Mr. West.

15.  Irianas’ warning about messing with the kingpin in response to “trade quarter”.

Since the opinions on Mr. West businesses seem to be divided. It's better to go, take the risk and have a personal chat with him, face to face.

16.  Mr. West response to “slums”.

17.  Mr. West dialogues.

We might not approve Mr. West’s methods, but it had to be to consider he is less stubborn than other people in town and almost a reasonable person, when the followers of Palimuth reach Mr. West, seeking a peaceful chat, it’s always calm and cooperative, whereas when followers of Azerus try to force him to obey he always pleads and agrees to yield to superior orders (In Service of Yalahar, Mission 04: Good to be Kingpin). Although, his claims about the state of the quarter he lives in seem to be biased, not surprising at all. There is one thing he says that can’t be denied: The people do their best to earn their living.

By helping Rapanaio with his request, a special mechanical fish from Yalahar (The Isle of Evil, Mission 01: Just a Fishing Trip), or by attending Azerus’ worries about the attacks on high sea workers (In Service of Yalahar, Mission 07: A Fishy Mission) we get to know how risky the life of a fisherman in Yalahar would be, Soilance confirms people used to fish regularly in what used to be the east quarter, also affirms fishes had become quite rare lately, which contrasts a lot with Irianas’ modus vivendi.

18.  Apparently, only a few of the fiercest inhabitants of Yalahar dare to catch underwater creatures.

19.  Iriana response to “job”.

Another of the very few good hearted inhabitants of Yalahar is Iriana. Don’t let her berserker bear pelt mislead you, she is a kind spirit and has a talkative personality. As if the whole situation was not enough, citizens like her, have to watch their backs constantly. A robbery can occur at any moment.

20.  Iriana shouting for help.

21.  Iriana dialogues.

Iriana often asks explorers to help her dealing with a local pilferer bully (Top of the City quest), he always escapes running and jumping through the roofs; those with good sight and fast feet might get hold of this stealthy burglar. After chasing this sneaky guy all the way to its hiding place, he has no other choice but to reveal his identity to us.

22.  Jimmy dialogues.

Helping Iriana to recover his stolen chest and negotiating with Jimmy can get people in some bigger trouble, Jimmy needs to feed his gang too and it seems he is not risking himself or his men to the dangers of fishing in the Yalahar seas, he rather prefers to persuade someone else into becoming a thief themselves and steal from the Pugwah’s tavern, Jimmy asks for a crate of “delicious things”. Surely, this thief hasn’t heard about the dworc chef's culinary preferences, it might be meat of dubious quality, but this is what Jimmy asked for. The tables turn for a brief moment, now an innocent, unaware adventurer could be spreading this unsafe food.

Once down there a greedy person could be tempted to grab more than one crate, even though Jimmy only needs one.

23.  Nothing to see here. Just an average nobleman in black suit getting a crate for a friend.

Nice carpet, by the way.

24.  Even if you have many food crates with you, Jimmy will only take one.

Jimmy turns out to be a man of word, he keeps his promise, pays his debt and gives back Iriana’s chest, with just a few coins less. Then, he gives a warm farewell, maybe you will meet him again, he says. Iriana will be very happy about recovering her stuff, she usually spreads the love by rewarding heroes with bouquets of 10 heaven blossoms.

IV. Additional Narrative / Post-4th Wall Analysis

As the reader may notice, food, hunger and fishing have always been sitting below the main topics of the Yalahar history and narrative.

There are a couple more food-related situations revolving around the main Yalahar quest line; be it the chocolate cake we bake to help Frafnar to get a date with Bolfona (The Hidden City of Beregar, Mission: Sweet as Chocolate Cake) or the nasty garlic cookies we bake in order to help Julius spot possible vampires hiding as regular citizens (Blood Brothers, Mission 02: Bad Eggs), an idea so clever than even Bozo would be amazed by this man’s creativity. Good to mention we also get more garlic cookies than we need for the quest, just as with the food crates before.

For the oven we use to burn the alchemist formula (In Service of Yalahar, Mission 03: Death to the Deathbringer), it might have been done that way because of the oven already had this function for other items like dough; therefore, a fast way for scripting the use and function for another new quest item. In the last three examples we can detect the use of an oven is recurrent, could it be there’s something else to do with a long forgotten oven inside Yalahar?

Cyclops under the foreign quarter, possibly baking swords or taking steam baths, who knows?

In addition, Ortheus, one of the possible vampire targets Julius needs to confirm, has a rather peculiar insatiable thirst for tea; a drink that, at the time when the quest was introduced, was only possible to obtain from Svargrond’s tavern. We can bring him as many mugs of tea as we want, Ortheus is a chugging champion. This drinking habit might be a way of hinting players and direct them to Svargrond for the later missions during In Service of Yalahar quest, in order to find the animal cure that Tamerin will need later but also as a possible hint that he wants to clean his palette after a horrible tasting cookie.

25.  Having a mug of tea with Ortheus.

About Iriana’s humble reward, heaven blossoms are needed to get the beggar outfit; however, this item and outfit were added in 2006, two years before Yalahar was introduced.

Since these flowers are very easy to get in other places where elves live, would this be a way to point out some relation to beggars or to elves? Do you think this is one of the rare cases where quest items seem to have more relevance than the reward itself?

The scarcity of food supplies is also a matter of doubts. When helping Palimuth or Jimmy, who are we really feeding? Do you think there could be more ways to help the people of Yalahar?

Remember the last thing our new friend Jimmy told us? Why would he think we might meet him again? Let’s go back and ask him some more questions.

26.  Jimmy response to “factory quarter”.

A very interesting answer we get from Jimmy is the one he gives when inquiring about the factory quarter. Could there be a way to inform him about the food matrix crystals that can be used to restore food production? Moreover, there is another interesting link between this quarter and the thieves. While doing Shadows of Yalahar quest, implemented until 2009, six months later after the Yalahar update, explorers have to retrieve items and perform tasks around Yalahar to help Telas, the inventor, on his project of creating a golem. Luckily for the rushers, we can buy some of the items with Black Bert, representative of the thieves guild. However, finishing the quest using bought items has a consequence that most players don’t care about; you cannot access one of the rooms inside the factory quarter after finishing the mission (Shadows of Yalahar, Mission 06 Out of Blue). All the other rooms related to Shadows of Yalahar are accessible despite buying the items or not as long as the player has the right mission to get the access to it, even when the quest is shown as completed in the queslog. Maybe this room or some place nearby has a hint for what we need to report to Jimmy?

Roof of the building with the inaccessible door from Shadows of Yalahar mission 6.

The entrance of the inaccessible room can be seen from another room of Shadows of Yalahar quest.

These war golems are programmed to keep working,

some of them won’t come far from their workplace inside this room.

Infamous explorer Skelly Belly from Jokera risking it all for the best screenshot of this room.

There is one last interesting thing with Jimmy, let’s keep the conversation going.

27.  Jimmy dialogues.

He slips a hint about Mistrock, directing players to the island, thus engaging explorers into the search of The Hidden City of Beregar. Then he deters us from going to Fenrock, possibly preventing some players from traveling to that place, as he says, there is no reason to go there. Mixed signals? Or even misleading hints? We have been seeing this all the way across Yalahar and its quest line; information pointing against each other. Jimmy seems to be somewhat misleading with some of his opinions, still, he sends adventurers on a mission that will make them stumble upon two very useful hints.

Even when his dialogues seem to be mixed between correct and misleading, when he asks for a crate of food supplies, he sends players onto a mission that might give them a very important knowledge: A hidden hole which can only be dug with a pick (red square), similar to the secret pick hole that leads to the caves on the way to Beregar, same mechanic with different sprite; and also the appearance of the secret trapdoor under the carpet to proceed with Blood Brothers quest inside the castle of Vengoth, identical to the trapdoor in Pugwah’s tavern cellar (red rectangle).

Now that we can see clearly, what do you think about the mixed fishing hints? Is Rapanaio really sending us on an innocent fishing trip? Everyone in Yalahar seems to not care about fishing; but the only good girl in town, Iriana, does a living out of it.

28.  A recent poll from Tibia official website.

https://www.tibia.com/community/?subtopic=polls&page=show&questionaireid=1255

Rapanaio seems to know A LOT about Yalahar, only Durin knows how this dwarf got all that that information, he precisely sends explorers to the sewers of Yalahar, instructs them to use nails as bait, warns them about getting electrocuted with dangerous eels down there and even knows the Yalahari would probably charge a fortune for one of this specimen. Even so, the mechanical fishing rod will display a message when used in the wrong place, or possibly with the wrong bait.

A few things worth mentioning about the mechanical fishing rod are possible “unscripted” water sqm, some of them won’t react to a mechanical rod but still react to a regular fishing rod.

This small pond inside the Yalahar palace wont react to a mechanical fishing rod but still will function properly with a regular fishing rod, this can be seen in many places. Please note the “you cannot use this object” message down the screen, meaning this sqm was not scripted to react with the mechanical fishing rod.

Also some sqm will become “unusable” with the mechanical fishing rod after using a regular fishing rod, meaning you can use the mechanical rod there and will display the failing message but after using a regular fishing rod the sqm becomes “unusable” with the mechanical rod, either way this sqm will reset and be usable again with mechanical rod after a while, this might be a very important bug to take in count while using the mechanical rod, always try to use the mechanical fishing rod first to get more accurate reactions. This bug is tricky since some sqms will stop working with the mechanical rod after one effective use of the regular fishing rod, then other sqms will take 3, 4 or more clicks to get it bugged and make it stop reacting to a mechanical fishing rod. This could be happening due to water sqms lacking a “reset” automatic function.

1 - Using the mechanical fishing rod effectively. 2 - Using the fishing rod for bugging those same sqm. 3 - Mechanical fishing rod not displaying the fail text message after using the regular fishing rod

29.  text displayed when possibly misusing the mechanical rod.

If a mysteryander set to go on a fishing trip to Yalahar, what places would be the best for a peaceful afternoon of throwing some reels and having a cold drink? Do you think it is better to fish at the shore with the soothing sound of the waves or try first in the underground lakes?  Would you try to retrieve a long forgotten apparatus from the sunken ship in the factory quarter? Could you resist a gooey mutated shrimp black soup from the alchemist quarter? Maybe try to catch a rare blind specimen from the underground rivers on the way to Beregar or a legendary Babel fish from the northern seas of Yalahar? Or perhaps try luck and hopefully get some exotic old furniture from the sunken quarter?

An interesting spot close to one of the underground lakes below the elven fortress inside the foreign quarter.

A variety of fishing spots around Yalahar.

30.  A nobleman exploring the remains of the east quarter on his aquatic donkey.

Also, what do you think the perfect mysteryander’s pro fishing kit would be? Would you carry both types of fishing rods? What type of bait would you use? Colorful gummy worms for enhanced visual effect? Regular worms? A baby rotworm? A starfish? Maybe a bigger bait to catch a bigger prey? Different types of fishes? Quara tentacles? Or perhaps yielocks as a fluffy hairy bait to catch an unknown creature? How would you know what bait to use when you don’t even know what your prey eats or craves for? Just be sure to bring enough bait, professional fishers solve the hunger and don’t have the time to become something else’s snack. Maybe one day, explorers will make magnet fishing possible, that day we will discover amazing things from the lakes and rivers of Tibia.

V. Screenshot text chart

Images with no text do not have an assigned number.

1. Iriana: It's the domicile of the Yalahari who created this city after the God Wars. Today, the Yalahari try to let the city shine in its former brilliancy again.

2. History of the Augur, Part I

Once it was a marvel to behold, but then it started to decay slowly and steadily. This process of deterioration begun in the far past, long before our ancestors came here. At the time they were brought here by the Yalahari as helpers and workers, the city already showed signs of decline.

History of the Augur, Part II

They brought more and more people to Yalahar. Not all of them became Augur, a good part of them lived in Yalahar as ordinary citizens. At some point, the city had reached a much larger population than under the rule of the true Yalahari, and it became difficult to provide food and shelter for everyone.

3. Mr. West: He seems astonishingly determined and focused for a Yalahari. Perhaps he is the first sign of a change of wind blowing in our city. Who knows if it will be for the better.

4. You see a sign. You read: The water people.

5. Jimmy: I was a little boy when the quarter blew up. It was a huge explosion and the stench was evil. No one made it out there alive. Every living being mutated into some monster.

6. Pugwah: Food has to be rotten to gain flavour! No need for expensive spices!

7. Julius: A better name would be Gomorrah, if you ask me.

8. Captain Cookie: I can't help it, I love sweets of any kind!

Captain Cookie: Until I finally discover the cockaigne, I'll work as a captain of this ship for the explorer's society.

Captain Cookie: I travelled here, hoping to find the cockaigne. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered I was wrong.

9. Znozel: Me great good banker! Me smart and honey .. no wait I mean horrible .. no, no honest I am! Yes, yes! Money give, give to honest goblin! Uhhh so shiny coins!

Serafin: They are desperately trying to get the city under control, i don’t envy them.

10. Gree Dee: The city is a virtual gold mine. People from all over the world come here to explore and to get rich …

Morpel: Uhm just between you and me. That cyclops with this unpronounceable name is the owner of this store. I just do all the talking and trade …

11. Dorbin: I just reduced all prices drastically.

12. Soilance says: Come in and buy my delicious meat!

13.

Soilance: Hi. I assume you are here for a good old trade.

Yalahar

Soilance: The city has some severe problems. Thanks to me the supply of meat is a smaller problem, though.

Yalahari

Soilance: I haven't even seen one in my life.

foreign quarter

Soilance: Those barbaric monsters have no taste at all.

arena quarter

Soilance: The creatures in the arena are lean and their meat tastes stale. Nothing like the meat I'm selling!

magician quarter

Soilance: I heard nothing good about this quarter.

sunken quarter

Soilance: They used to fish there a lot, but fish seems to become quite rare lately. Luckily, I provide the city with delicious meat!

factory quarter

Soilance: The people there are way too poor to buy anything, so they better stay away from my store.

trade quarter

Soilance: I have an agreement with Mr. West which provides that I supply his people with meat.

meat

Soilance: I .. import that meat from several sources which I cannot reveal for the safety of my small profit.

rotworm

Soilance: They are .. uhm just there to get rid of the garbage. Don't pay them any attention.

Palimuth

Soilance: He should care more about the city instead of harassing innocent traders like me.

14. Armenius: He's not a bad person, even from my point of view. Lots of criminals find shelter in this quarter, which means more people who come and visit my bar.

15. Iriana: It's all controlled by the trade baron. Stay out of his business, or you'll regret it, I promise.

16. Mr. West: The people do their best to earn their living. Still, they are desperate. If it were not for me, they'd rob and murder each other.

17.

Yalahar

Mr. West: Yalahar is an oyster. Its treasure is waiting to be excavated by someone with the necessary determination.

arena quarter

Mr. West: In fact the arena quarter is still useful for the city. It's a good food source, and I recruit some of my best men from the descendants of the gladiators.

factory quarter

Mr. West: There are still many people living there. Of course, I provide them with some of my services as well.

magician quarter

Mr. West: It's a shame. I'm convinced there are countless treasures hidden in those ruins. However, neither bribe nor threats get my men even close to this quarter.

Ab'dendriel

Mr. West: I wouldn't trust a single elf, let alone a whole city of them.

Venore

Mr. West: The trade barons know how to run a city, that's for sure. Unfortunately, they are greedier than it is good for them. I'm prepared to deal with their intrusion into my territory.

Palimuth

Mr. West: He is a typical Yalahar official - always occupied with trying to stop the dam from breaking. After all these years, he still has not given up. That qualifies him either as an idealist or a fool.

azerus

Mr. West: He seems astonishingly determined and focused for a Yalahari. Perhaps he is the first sign of a change of wind blowing in our city. Who knows if it will be for the better.

bandits

Mr. West: All those royal bloodlines started with some kind of bandit anyhow.

determination / kingpin / crime

Mr. West: The city offers great possibilities as long as order is maintained in some way. ...

Mr. West: It's easy to maintain order by using brute force but I see that as a necessary evil. My little empire developed out of my need for security in these times of turmoil. ...

Mr. West: To establish some security, I had to establish a base of power first. To maintain this power, I had to gain money somehow. ...

Mr. West: At this point I used my power to secure resources and to encourage trade. ...

Mr. West: In fact I do nothing else than the kings. I collect taxes and use them to hire men that ensure the safety of the people.

slums

Mr. West: The people do their best to earn their living. Still, they are desperate. If it were not for me, they'd rob and murder each other.

18. You see a dead quara constrictor (vol: 10)

19. Iriana: I'm selling fishing equipment. You know, this isn't only the trade quarter. Most people here earn their bread and butter on the sea with a fishing rod in their hands.

20. Iriana says: Stop that thief!

21.

Iriana: Are you here to help me? That masked guy has stolen my complete daily earnings! Ask me for a quest if you are willing to help me.

quest

Iriana: I went inside my house just for a second. When I came back, I saw that masked guy jumping on the wagon over there, and from there up on the roof with my chest under his arm. All my earnings are in there. Please help me to get it back! Will you?

yes

Iriana: All right, hopefully you get this mean guy. Come back and tell me about your quest when you know something about the whereabouts of this thief, or even better when you got my chest back.

22.

Jimmy: Not bad, not bad....why did you follow me?

Job

Jimmy: Guess what? I'm a thief!

Player: Name

Jimmy: People call me Jimmy Swiftfinger.

quest

Jimmy: Not bad, not bad....why did you follow me?

 Iriana

Jimmy: I had no other choice. I already have a bad conscience about this. You must know I only do this as I don't see any other options for me and my people to survive. ...

Jimmy: The Yalahari don't care about the inhabitants of the city and the trade baron... he's not really bad but he can't feed everybody here in this quarter. ...

Jimmy: Hey! I've got an idea. If you help me gather some food, you get... err... a part of Iriana's gold back. Word?

Player: yes

Jimmy: As you are allowed to enter the inner circle, an idea came to my mind. Do you know the tavern near the harbour? Its owner surely has some really delicious things in his cellar. ...

Jimmy: It might be a bit difficult to get in there, but I'm sure you'll find a way. Get me a crate of food out of his stock and bring it to me. Ask me about the quest when you have it.

23. you have to wait at least ten minutes before you can get another crate

24.. Jimmy: Good job my friend, and thank you for your help. Here, take Iriana's chest. Maybe we'll meet again Player.

Good bye.

Your questlog has been updated

25. Ortheus: Have you actually brought me a mug of tea??

Ortheus: Have you actually brought me a mug of tea??
Ortheus: Wow. These polite young adventurers nowadays, Thank you.

26. Jimmy: What are they producing there anyway? Tell me if you find out.

27.

Mistrock

Jimmy: This island is weird. It's definitely no ordinary mist that covers the island most of the days. To me it looks more like....steam from a chimney.

Fenrock

Jimmy: I've never been there because there is no reason to go. It is cold and the island is small and meagre.

Beregar

Jimmy: Never heard of that.

Dwarf

Jimmy: Some dwarfs live in Yalahar but they are not very talkative. I have no clue where they came from.
